Bean Pie Flavored Protein Drink

 Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of cooked or canned navy beans
  • Raw honey, according to your preference
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon, according to your preference (1 -2 teaspoons)
  • Ground ginger, according to your preference (1/2 - 1 teaspoon)
  • Ground nutmeg, according to your preference (1/2 - 1 teaspoon)

Place the ingredients in a small pan to warm the ingredients. This assists with easy blending and digestion.

Pour the ingredients into a blender. Vent the lid to prevent overflow. Blend them thoroughly until the mixture becomes very smooth, and the beans have been completely liquified. Taste it and adjust the seasonings if needed. Pour the drink into a cup, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy.

This drink is a nutritious, filling meal replacement drink when one is busy, traveling, or cannot easily prepare a proper meal. It is a good addition to one's meal if they are working out strenuously.

Lastly, it can help one transition to eating every other day by allowing the stomach to get used to a light "meal" every second day until one achieves the discipline to fully fast for 48 hours.

How To Eat To Live Book II
Chapter 25 - Food Robbed of Natural Vitamins

Excerpt: "When the vitamins and proteins are chemically taken out of natural foods, it makes the food less valuable. The chemicals used to take out vitamins and proteins from their natural place in food and the chemicals used to keep and preserve the vitamins and proteins make it not too safe for us to eat vitamins and proteins in pills and liquid form."

We Welcome Contributions!

As-salaam alaikum.

Do you have any items you would like to donate? You don't have to sacrifice your originals; we only need copies. Please send us an email and let's discuss it. We are constantly working to add new issues, and upload better versions of the issues already listed. Please check back frequently. If you have any Muhammad Speaks newspapers or copies you'd like to donate, please contact us. Muhammad Speaks newspapers have become quite expensive (up to $100 or more in some cases) over the past decade. Many non-believers have created a disgraceful racket to profit from our (the believers) disunity and disorganization. Together, we can make all issues available for public research. Please consider helping us preserve our history.

As-salaam alaikum."
